On May 18, 2025, Xiaogang Group organized a one-day outdoor team building activity for nearly 300 employees from its headquarters and surrounding production bases at the Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area. The activity, themed “Climbing High and Looking Far, Uniting for Progress,” aimed to enhance team cohesion through outdoor challenges.

Morning Assembly and Departure
At 7:30 AM, six buses departed on time from various factory locations. Employees, all wearing blue sportswear printed with “Xiaogang Manufacturing,” began group activities and icebreaker games on the buses. Each bus echoed with self-composed team slogans, creating a lively atmosphere.
Mountain Climbing Competition: Working Together
At 9:00 AM, the mountain climbing competition officially began. The activity featured three routes of varying difficulty, corresponding to the “Pioneer Team,” “Striving Team,” and “Collaborative Team.” During the competition:
The Pioneer Team, composed of young employees, was the first to tackle the steepest route.
The Striving Team, mainly composed of technical experts, completed several technical puzzle challenges along the way.
The Collaborative Team, a cross-departmental mix, focused on mutual support and helping colleagues with less physical strength.

Summit Reunion and Shared Achievements
At 10:30 AM, all teams arrived at the summit observation deck. The company awarded each employee who reached the summit a special “Climbing Commemorative Badge.” At the “Most Beautiful Yuelu” photo spot, each department creatively posed for photos: the production department formed a bulldozer shape, the R&D department created a chip pattern, and the marketing team spelled out “Xiaogang.”
Team Games: Testing Teamwork
After a midday break, a series of team collaboration games were held:
Precise Transmission: Using rolled-up engineering drawings to pass ping-pong balls.
Collaborative Construction: Groups worked together to assemble a large excavator model.
Intelligent Decryption: Solving password challenges related to product quality standards.
Walking Together: A ten-person leg-tying race.

Laughter filled the air throughout the games, especially during the “Pictionary” segment involving management, where the general manager’s imitation of an excavator’s movements drew rounds of applause.
Awards Ceremony and Sharing of Experiences
A summary and awards ceremony was held at 4:00 PM. The mountain climbing speed race championship was won by the assembly workshop team, while the overall team game championship went to the cross-departmental “Innovators’ Alliance” team. A representative from the winning team shared their thoughts: “Just like assembling precision parts, teamwork requires the precise cooperation of every individual.”
Safe Return, Warm Memories Continue
Before the end of the event, each employee received a specially prepared “energy pack,” containing energy-boosting snacks, a commemorative photo card, and congratulatory notes written by colleagues from their respective departments. On the return bus, many employees spontaneously organized a singing competition, with the song “Unity is Strength” echoing throughout the workshops.
“Every step we took today in climbing the mountain is like every step in manufacturing our equipment,” the activity leader summarized. “Only through teamwork can we overcome technical challenges and reach the pinnacle of the industry.”
The following day, photos from the event were displayed on electronic screens in each workshop, and three constructive suggestions generated during the team-building activity were incorporated into the company’s improvement plan. This event not only strengthened the employees’ physical fitness but also enhanced cross-departmental communication in a relaxed atmosphere, injecting new team vitality into the upcoming peak production season.
