On the evening of September 29, 2025, Xiaogang Group’s various bases simultaneously held “Full Moon, Family Reunion” Mid-Autumn Festival themed activities, sending warmth and blessings to all employees and their families.
Warm Decorations, Festive Atmosphere
The canteens and activity areas at each base were decorated early with lanterns, colorful lights, and mooncake-shaped decorations. At the main base in Changsha, a “moon photo wall” was set up at the entrance, and many employees took photos with their families after get off work. Mid-Autumn Festival greeting cards and mooncake gift boxes were placed at each workstation in advance. Besides traditional mooncakes, the gift boxes also contained custom-made “Xiaogang Reunion” themed bookmarks.
Family Activities, Full of Joy
The family activities, which started at 4 PM, were lively and vibrant:
Children made simple “Jade Rabbit excavator” models under the guidance of experienced craftsmen.
The riddle-guessing area was filled with fun riddles related to mechanical manufacturing.
A long queue formed for the traditional pitch-pot game, with company-customized construction vehicle toys as prizes.
In the children’s painting area, children depicted “Dad and Mom building machines” with their paintbrushes.
Family Dinner and Reunion, Full of Warmth
At 6 PM, the Mid-Autumn Festival family dinner began simultaneously in the canteens of each base. This year’s menu focused on home-style dishes: in addition to the essential mooncakes, there were also specialty dishes from various branch companies – Hunan’s chopped chili fish head, Jiangsu’s osmanthus duck, and Guangdong’s tangerine peel red bean paste. Each table had a designated space for employees to bring their own family’s signature dishes, and many colleagues shared their hometown flavors.
Special Segments, Touching Moments
The dinner included heartwarming segments:
Video calls were made to colleagues in overseas project departments, who were celebrating simultaneously in Chilean mines and Bangladeshi construction sites.
A “Xiaogang’s First Mid-Autumn Festival” welcome ceremony was held for the 18 new employees who had just joined the company a month ago.
Three dual-employee families were invited to share their stories of “under the same moon.”
Experienced craftsmen demonstrated traditional mooncake mold making techniques.
Sending Blessings with the Bright Moon
At 7:30 PM, moon-viewing activities were held simultaneously at each base. The moon-viewing platform at the Changsha base was equipped with telescopes and refreshments, and everyone participated in a “moon poetry and idiom relay” while enjoying the moon. The company’s leadership team went to each table to offer tea and greetings, and delivered specially prepared “reunion red envelopes” to employees who were unable to attend the event due to work duties.
“No matter where we are, we all look up at the same moon,” the chairman said in his blessings. “The Xiaogang family, like the full moon of the Mid-Autumn Festival, connects our hearts tightly together.”
At the end of the event, each employee received a customized “Moonlight Treasure Box”—containing the company’s specially made mooncakes, family message cards, and the training and development plan for the next quarter. Many employees spontaneously stayed behind to clean up the venue, and the cafeteria staff also received thank-you cards from various departments.
This Mid-Autumn Festival, Xiaogang Group interpreted the “family” culture in the most simple way—beyond the roar of the machines, there was the sweet aroma of mooncakes, the warm glow of lanterns, and the joyful laughter of reunion.
